Oliver Tai, MD

Dr. Tai is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Critical Care Medicine. After graduating from Duke University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine training, Nephrology Fellowship, and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the University of Washington and Affiliated Hospitals.

Dr. Tai has been practicing Nephrology in Everett, WA since 2008 and is Medical Director at DaVita Everett Dialysis Center for home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients and Associate Medical Director at DaVita Pilchuck Dialysis center for in-center dialysis and peritoneal dialysis. His clinical interests include hypertension management, electrolytes, chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, renal failure and dialysis, and kidney transplant care. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American College of Physicians and Renal Physicians Association.

Dr. Tai was named “Top Doctor” by Seattle Magazine in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 as well as Castle Connolly Regional Top Doctors: 1st Edition 2021 and Seattle Met Magazine in 2017. He also received DaVita’s Core Value award for fulfillment in 2016. When Dr. Tai is not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Seahawks, and playing ultimate frisbee.
